  1. I love your Lacy Necktie. I tried to make it and ran into some problems, mine I'm sure not yours.
If I chain 22 and crochet in 4th chain from hook that leaves 19 sc, and on row two you need 22 sc to complete it.

Row 2 calls for: skip 2 sc, 1 dc in ea of next 2 sc, skip 2 sc. That is a total of 6 sc and there is only 5 in the pattern.

I'll appreciate any help to show me what I'm doing wrong.

    Thank you, cheryl

  2. I have to apologize to you Cheryl! When I started blogging, I had comments set up on automatic and I was not always able to see them and answer them. I was so green!
I did not see your comment till yesterday afternoon!
I was so embarrassed that I immediately set out to make the necktie again, following the pattern I had given on the blog and correcting it to make it more easy to understand as I went along. I have corrected it completely now. Live and learn! I have earned my ropes as a blogger the hard way!
