This is a simple but pretty rosette motif, large, so that you can finish quidkly if you use it to make a shawl, a poncho or an afghan.
Materials:
Variegated worsted weight yarn of your choice (I used a variegated yarn from my stash)
Crochet hook size H
Ch 10, sl st to form ring.
Round 1- Ch 4, make 1 dc, ch 1 in ring, [1 dc, ch 1] rep more 11 times, sl st to join rnd.
Rnd 2- Ch 3, 1 dc in same spot as ch 3, ch 2, skip ch-1 space, *2 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip next ch-1 sp,
2 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip next ch-1 space, rep from * around, sl st to join rnd.
Rnd 3- Ch 3, 1 dc in same spot as ch 3, ch 2, 2 dc in next dc, ch 5, skip next ch-2 space, next 2 dc and next ch-2 space, *2 dc, ch 2,
2 dc in next dc, ch 5, skip next ch-2 sp, next 2 dc and next ch-2 space, rep from * around. Sl st to join rnd.
Rnd 4- Sl stitch till you reach center of next shell, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2 in center of that shell, ch2, skip 2 ch, 2 dc in next chain, ch 2, skip 2 ch
3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in center of next shell, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, 2 dc in next ch, skip 2 ch, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in nexter of next shell, rep from * around.
Fasten off.
