Spunky Gladiola

The neck is one of the areas that easily gets chilled in the cold months. And I don't know if you do it, but when I'm cold, I bend over like a number 8, like a flamingo, to try to hide my neck and get a little warmth!
Lets save our backs and wear something cozy and cute when walking against a chilly wind. You can start by making this little pattern, it's easy. It would also make a pretty project for gift-giving and a wonderful project for charity.

  3. So pretty, I'm making it now and wondering about how many rows to do when working on the right side. The pattern says 'rows 16 -" ?? Is it supposed to be 31 rows like the left side? Thanks!

  4. Yes, Rachel, it is supposed to be 31 rows just like opposite side. What you do is you ignore the hole of the keyhole and make it an all tr row and then the next row you make all dc and continue that way, alternating till you get the 31 rows completed for the length of the scarflet. You could make it shorter if you want to, but 31 rows is a really nice comfortable fit.

  5. Hi +Eli, Spunky Gladiola is about 33 or 34" long. My scarf designs are usually short and easy on the wear, mostly fast to make.
