This one is for lovers of purple, but YOU and maybe your best friend. This cowl is also super easy to charity and also other gift-giving projects. Enjoy!

Materials-

Red Heart worsted weight yarn Lavender (5 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Orchid (5 oz)
Crochet hook size H
Scissors
Blunt needle

With Lavender, ch 28 loosely.
Row 1 (Right side)- Make 2 dc in fifth ch from hook, ch 1, 2 dc in next ch, *sl next 3 chs, make 2 dc in next ch, ch 1, 2 dc in next ch; repeat from * across till you reach the last 2 chs, skip next ch, make 1 dc in last ch. Ch 3, turn (counts as first dc of next row).
Mark this row as Right Side.
Row 2- Work [2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc] in next ch-1 space, *[2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc] in next ch-1 space, rep from * across, dc in top of turning ch. (Shell Stitch made) Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- Work Shell Stitch in ch-1 space of center of each shell across, dc in top of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 4 to 30- Rep row 3. Fasten off Lavender, weave in tail.


Join Orchid.
Row 31- Ch 3 (counts as first dc of row), work a shell in ch-1 space in center of first Shell Stitch, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in in center of next Shell (V-St made), Shell in next Shell, V-St in next Shell, Shell in next Shell, 1 dc in top of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Row 32- Rep row 31.
Rows 33 to 40- Rep row 31. Fasten off, leaving tail long enough to sew piece into a tube and then weave in ends.
Thread tail with blunt needle and sew both ends together into a tube. Fasten off, weave in tail.
