I love pieces that can be worn different ways, Ellie is such a piece. I will show you how you can wear it 3 different ways, which makes it a lot of fun. It is a relatively easy cowl to make. This is an ideal cowl to make for charity and for gift-giving because it works up fast. Have fun making and wearing yours!

Skill - relatively easy
Size- 5 1/4" W x 27" L (circumference)

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Turqua (1 skein)
Crochet hook size H
Measuring tape
Scissors
Yarn needle

With Turqua and H hook, ch 24.

Row 1- (Right Side): Skip 3 ch (will count as first dc)and work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 3, skip 3 chs, make 1 dc into each of next 2 ch, rep from * across, to end of row. Ch 3 (counts as first dc of next row), turn.
Row 2- Skip first st, work *5 dc in first ch-3 arch; rep from * across, ending the row with 1 dc in top of turning chain. Ch 3 (counts as first dc of next row), turn.
Row 3- Skip first st, work 1 dc into next dc, *ch 3, skip 3 dc, make 1 dc into each of next 2 dc,; rep from * across to end of row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 4 to 27- Rep rows 2 and 3 for pattern, ending with row 3. DO NOT FASTEN OFF. Ch 3, turn (counts as first dc of next row).
Row 28- 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch-space, rep across. Ch 3, turn (counts as first dc of next row throughout).
Row 29- 3 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch-1 sp, rep across. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 30 to 52-Rep rows 28 and 29 alternately. Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough to sew the piece into a tube and weave in the remaining yarn.
