Girly Fun Dishcloth

Best Blog Tips

I have something a bit dainty to share this week.
Yellow would have been happier, blue would have been more relaxed, green would have been more peaceful, but pink is just so lovely! I picked it because I wanted it to be lovely, but you can use any color you like best.
Last week was rough.
I almost lost my mom (a really bad pneumonia) but thanks to God, she's bouncing back and we're making progress. Let me tell you, I feel really BLESSED!
I wanted to make something pretty because I am happy, so I started with the color, then went for the shape, and this is the result, hope you like it!
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn, color of your choice, I used a girly baby pink.
Size H crochet hook.
Note: if you would like this to be a washcloth, use cotton instead in a pink or peach color to preserve the femininity of the item.

Cotton Candy Dishcloth

Best Blog Tips

This is a fun dishcloth. It is in the shape of a heptagon or 7-sided polygon (a clever crocheter can even used it as a giant granny for a quicker-than-usual afghan). The fun shape and the happy color can liven up an otherwise boring chore.
Here's the pattern:

Materials:
Pink worsted weight yarn
Size "G" crochet hook

Ch 6. Sl st to close ring.
Round 1- Ch 3, make 15 dc in ring. Sl st to end rnd.
Round 2- Ch 6, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 3, *skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 3, rep from * around. Ch 3 and sl st to end round by joining to beginning chains.
Round 3- Ch 3, 4 dc in 1st ch-3 space, dc in top of next dc, rep around. Sl st on beg ch-3 to end round.
Round 4- Ch 3, 2 dc in same space as ch 3, skip 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, ch 3, * skip 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc, ch 3, rep from * around.
Round 5- Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, skip ch-3 space, * 1 dc in 1st dc of next cluster, 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, rep from * around.
Round 6- Ch 3, 1 dc in next 4 dc, 1 dc in ch-1 sp, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 3, skip next ch-1 space, * 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, 1 dc in ch-1 sp, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 3, skip next ch-1 sp, rep from * around. When you reach the last cluster, make 2 dc in 1st dc, 2 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, 3 dc in last dc, ch 3 and sl st to end round.
Round 7- Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch space, * 1 dc in each of next 9 dc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch space, rep around, sl st to end round.

Enjoy!
