Sew 1 Solid Half Square to 1 Granny Half Square to each other to form a square. Then, when you have all your squares completed, sew to each other.

Edging-
Row 1- With F hook join Gemstone yarn to the edge of one of the narrow edges of the scarf, work 18 sc across that edge.
2 sc in corner, and now, working on the long side of scarf, make 127 sc across that long edge, making 2 sc in corner, and making 18 sc
across opposite short side of scarf, then make 127 sc on opposite long side of scarf. (290 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 2- 1 sc in each sc all around. (290 sc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 3- Skip 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc, *ch 4, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc, rep from * across. Fasten off, weave in tail. Repeat these loops on opposite
short side of scarf. Fasten off, weave in tail.

Measure and cut 4 pieces of yarn, 8 inches long, per loop and folding them in half, insert hook in loop and pull center of fold, then pass ends of yarn through the loop that has formed
and tighten to complete the tassel. Repeat across. Do the same on opposite short end of scarf.

Gathering Strap-
Note- leave a tail at the beginning of strap and at the end of it to sew to sides of scarf.

With Gemstone and G hook, Ch 22.
Row 1- 1 sc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. (20 sc) Ch 2, turn.
Row 2- 1 hdc in each sc across. (20 hdc) Ch 1, turn.

Thread blunt needle with leftover tail and placing the strap across the middle of the second square on the left side of scarf, sew strap in place.
Fasten off, weave in tails.

Done!
