I would love to know approx how much yarn it took to make this beautiful scarf?

Hi Barb! All of my scarflet just take a skein of Super Saver. When they are multi-toned, they take leass than 1 skein of each color and can very well be made with scraps of yarn in your stash. i design like that on purpose.
