This is a super easy scarflet to make in a classic, neutral Buff color that goes with almost anything you can wear.

Size- 45" L x 6 1/2" W
Skill- Easy

Materials-
1 skein Red Heart worsted weight yarn Buff
Crochet hook size H
Blunt needle to weave in tails
Measuring tape

Note1 - Ch 3 stands for 1st dc of row and ch 4 stands for 1st tr of row unless otherwise noted.

Note 2- I know that for some people, doing lace is a bit difficult and that is why I enclosed in the Materials a Measuring tape, so that if you're a beginner, you can measure the edges of the lace and make sure it is even and not crooked. It is an optional thing, you can eyeball it also.


With Buff and H hook, ch 22.
Row 1- 1 dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. (21 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 2- 1 tr in each dc across. (21 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Rows 3 to 33- Alternate 1 dc row and 1 tr row, ending with a dc row. Ch 4, turn.
Row 34- 1 tr in each of next 4 dc, ch 11, skip 11 dc, 1 tr in each of last 5 dc. (keyhole started) (10 tr, 11 ch) Ch 3, turn.
Row 35- 1 dc in each tr and in each ch across. (Keyhole completed) (21 dc) Ch 3, turn.


Left Side-
Lace Edging-
Row 1- 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in each of last 3 dc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 2- 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 2, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in center ch sp of first shell, ch 2, skip rest dcs of shell, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, ch 2, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in center ch sp of next shell, ch 2, 1 dc in each of last 3 dc, of row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in first ch sp of first shell, ch 1, 3 dc in second ch sp of same shell, ch 1, skip next ch and 1 dc, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, ch 1, skip next 2 ch, 3 dc in first ch sp of next shell, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch sp, ch 2, 1 dc in each of last 3 dc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 4- 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp between next shells, ch 1, 2 dc in first dc, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp between next 2 3-dc shells, ch 1, 1 dc in each of last 3 dc. Ch 3, turn.
Row 5- Rep row 3. Ch 3, turn.
Row 6- Rep row 2. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 7 to 10- Alternate rows 2 and 3. Ch 3, turn.
Row 11- 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, in center dc of first shell, ch 2, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in center dc of next shell, ch 2, 1 dc in each of last 3 dc.
Fasten off, weave in tails.
Right Side-
Lace Edging-
Join Buff to this end of scarflet, and repeat the lace edging as per Left Side.
Fasten off and weave all tails.
Fasten off, weave in tails.
