Size: Approx. 42" long (without optional tassels) x 6" wide

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Real Teal
Crochet hook size H
Blunt needle (to weave in ends)
Scissors

Open Waves Lace Pattern-
Ch 26.
Row 1- 1 sc in second ch from hook, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 hdc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch,
1 tr in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch, skip 1 ch, ch 1, 1 hdc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 sc in next ch, ch 1, 1 hdc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 tr in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch, skip 1 ch, ch 1, 1 hdc in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 sc in last ch of row.Ch 1, turn.
Row 2- 1 sc in each stitch and in each ch across. (25 sc) Ch 5, turn (stads for 1 tr plus ch 1 for next row).
Row 3- Skip next sc, 1 dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 1, skip
1 sc, 1 hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 tr in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 hdc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 dc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 1 tr in last sc of row. Ch 1, turn.
Row 4- 1 sc in each stitch and in each ch across.
Rep these 4 rows for pattern.

Side #1 of Scarflet-
Note- Ch 3 stands for first dc of row and ch 4 stands for first tr of row.
Ch 26.

Rows 1 to 19- work Open Waves Lace Pattern until you have completed 19 rows of pattern, ending with last row lace wave stitches across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 20- Work 23 sc across row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 21- 1 dc in each sc across. (23 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 22- 1 tr in each dc across. (23 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 23- 1 dc in each tr across. Ch 4, turn.
Row 24- 1 tr in each of next 4 dc, ch 13, skip 13 dc, 1 tr in each of last 5 dc. (Keyhole made) Ch 3, turn.(23 stitches)
Row 25- 1 dc in each tr and in each ch across. (Keyhole completed) (23 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Rows 26 to 39- Alternate 1 tr and 1 dc row. Fasten off, weave in tail.

Side #2 of Scarflet-
Ch 26.
Rows 1 to 19- work Open Waves Lace Pattern until you have completed 19 rows of pattern, ending with last row lace wave stitches across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 20- Work 23 sc across row. Ch 3, turn.
Row 21- 1 dc in each sc across. (23 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 22- 1 tr in each dc across. (23 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 23- 1 dc in each tr across. Ch 4, turn.
Rows 24 to 39- Alternate 1 tr and 1 dc row. Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.

Thread a blunt needle and sew both sides together at the back using leftover long tail.
Fasten off, weave in ends.

Optional-
Make tassels and attach to scarflet ends.

This little scarf is ideal when you want warmth around your neck but do not feel like dragging a long scarf. Very easy and cute!

Materials-
1 skein Red Heart worsted weight Cherry Red
Crochet hook size H
Blunt needle (to weave in tails)
Scissors

Ch 23.
Row 1- 1 dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 3, turn. (21 dc)
Row 2- 1 dc in each across. Ch 3, turn. (21 dc)
Rows 3 to 40- 1 dc in each dc across. Ch 3, turn. (21 dc)
Row 41- 1 dc in each dc across. (21 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Note- Each ch 3 stands for first dc of row, and each ch 4, stands for first tr of row.
Row 42- 1 tr in each of next 4 dc, ch 11, skip 11 dc, 1 tr in each of last 5 dc. (Keyhole made) Ch 3, turn.
Row 43- 1 dc in each tr and in each ch across. (21 dc) (Keyhole completed) Ch 3, turn.
Rows 44 to 46- 1 dc in each stitch across. Ch 3, turn. (21 dc)
Row 47- 1 dc in each dc across. Ch 4, turn.

Edging-

Row 1- Kip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, *skip next dc, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, rep from *across. Ch 4, turn (counts as 1 dc, ch 1 for next row).
Row 2- (Using front loops only across this row) 1 dc, ch 1 in same spot as ch 4, [1 dc, ch 1] rep 3 more times in same stitch, skip to the next
dc, ignoring ch-1 space, and work in that dc [1 dc, ch 1] 5 times, rep from *across. Ch 4, turn.
Row 3- 1dc in back loop where you made your last stitch on previous row, ch 1, 1 dc in back loop of next dc, *ch 1, 1 dc in back loop of next dc, rep from * across.
Row 4- Rep row 2. Fasten off, weave in tail. Fasten off, weave in tail.

Opposite side-
Join Cherry red to opposite side of scarf.
Row 48- Ch 3, 1 dc in each dc across. (21 dc) Ch 3, turn.


Rows 49 to 50- 1 dc in each dc across. (21 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 51- 1 tr in each dc across. Ch 4, turn.

Edging- Rep as for opposite side Eding. Fasten off, weave in tail.

Note- Ch 3 counts as 1 dc, and ch 4 counts as 1 tr throughout.

Ch 18.
Row 1- 1 sc in third ch from hook and in each ch across. (17 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 2- 1 sc in each sc across. Ch 3, turn. (17 sc)
Row 3- 1 dc in each sc across. (17 dc). Ch 4, turn.
Row 4- 1 tr in next dc and in each dc across. Ch 3, turn. (17 tr)
Row 5- 1 dc in next tr and in each tr across. Ch 4, turn. (17 dc)
Rows 6 to 35- Repeat rows 2 and 3 alternately. Ch 3, turn. (17 tr)

Rows 46 to 50- Join variegated Gemstone yarn to opposite side and rep rows 38 to 42. Fasten of, weave in tail.
