I love this scarf! However I have a few questions...

- Did you count the ch 2 as a HDC and the chain 1 as a SC?

- Did you work into the top of these chains at the end of your rows?

- You said to Chain 23 and then SC into in 3rd Ch from the hook. When I did this I ended up with only 21 Sc. Any suggestions?

Goldstarmom24, the answer to your questions is Yes, ch 2 counts as HDC and the ch 1 as sc.
About the ch 23 and sc in 3rd ch from hook and ending up with 22 sc, I counted the bump of the first 2 chs as you made the first sc as the first sc of row. In other words, you ch 23, sc in third ch from hook but you count the two chains that fold into the sc just made as the first sc, instead of counting the sc just made as the first sc. That will give you 22 sts.
Hope this helps!
