This is a relatively easy piece in a rich color that looks gorgeous with many outfits and has a color that evokes the changing hues of fall.

Materials-

Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Redwood Sequoia (1 skein) (You can also use Flame, Coral or Carrot)
Crochet hook size H
Blunt needles
Scissors
Measuring tape



With Redwood Sequoia, ch 25.

Row 1- 1 sc and 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, *skip 1 ch, [1 sc, 1 dc in next ch], rep from * across. Ch 1, turn (does not count as a stitch).
Row 2- [1 sc, 1 dc in next ch] in first st, skip next st, * [1 sc, 1 dc in next ch] in next st, skip next st, rep from * across till end of row. Ch 1, turn.
Rep row 2 for pattern until the piece measures approximately 29 inches. Fasten off, leaving a long enough tail to sew the piece into a tube and have enough yarn left to weave in the end.
Sew Adelynn into a tube. Fasten off, weave in ends.

This is a simple but pretty and feminine cowl that can be made in a jiffy. This would be a wonderful charity project or gift for a friend. The beautiful lavender color lends a romantic look to the lacy pattern. Enjoy yours!

Size- 28 1/2 L (in circumference) x 6 1/4" W
Skill- Moderately easy

Special Stitch- 2-Dc Cluster: *YO, insert hook in stitch or space indicated in pattern, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook; repeat from * once more, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Lavender (1 skein)
Crochet hook size H
Scissors
Blunt needle


Ch 28 loosely.
Row 1- (Right Side) Make (2-Dc Cluster, ch 1, 2-Dc Cluster) in 5th ch from hook, * skip next 2 chs, (4 dc, ch 1) in next ch, skip next 5 chs, work (2-Dc Cluster, ch 1, 2-Dc Cluster) in next ch; rep from * across, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in last ch. Place a marker on this row as right side. Ch 4, turn (counts as first dc plus ch 1 of next row).
Row 2- Work (2-Dc Cluster, ch 1) twice in ch-1 space of first Cluster, ch 1, insert hook in the center of next shell, under the Vs of stitches and work 4 dc, ch 1, *make (2-Dc Cluster, ch 1) twice in ch-1 space of next Cluster, ch 1, work a 4-Dc shell in center of next Shell, making sure you insert the hook under the Vs of stitches, ch 1, rep from *across. End row by working 1 dc in top of turning ch. Ch 4, turn.
Rep row 2 until piece measures approximately 23".
Loopy Stitch:
Row 1- (This will be the base) work 1 sc in each stitch across. (24 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 2- Insert hook in first stitch from hok and draw up a loop, insert hook in next st and pull up a loop, yo and through 3 loops on hook, ch 1, *draw up a loop in each of next 2 sts, yo and through 3 loops on hook, ch 1, rep from * across, 1 sc in l ast st of row. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3- *Draw up a loop in each of first 2 sts, yo and through 3 loops on hook, ch 1, rep from * across, 1 sc in last st of row.
Rep Row 3 for pattern until this section measures 3 1/4". Fasten off, leaving long enough tail to sew Gianna into a tube and also weave in end.
