With worsted weight yarn and G hook, ch 5, sl st to close ring.
Round 1: 8 sc in ring, sl st to close.
Round 2: Ch 6, 1 sc in same sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc, rep around, forming a triangle. Sl st to end round.
Round 3: Sl st into the 1st ch-6 ring of triangle, ch 3, then make 3 dc in the same ring, ch 7, then make 4 dc, 1 dc in each of next 3 sc, 4 dc in next ch-6 ring, ch 7, 4 dc. 1 dc in each of next 3 sc. Rep around triangle. Sl st to end round.
