You can use this medallion for any project in which you would like to use a a 5"x5" motif.

Materials:Worsted weight yarn of your choice (I used Red heart Pretty 'N Pink)
Crochet hook size H
Scissors
Blunt needle to weave ends

Ch 5, sl st to join ring.
Rnd 1- Ch 2, work 21 dc in ring, sl st to join rnd, bypassing beginning ch 2 (this hides the starting ch 2.)
Rnd 2- Ch 2, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 6, [1 dc in each of next 5 dc, ch 6] rep 3 times, sl st to join rnd in top of beginning ch 2.
Rnd 3- Ch 2, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 1 *5 dc in next ch sp, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, ch 1, rep from * acround. Sl st to beg ch 2 to join rnd.
Rnd 4- ch 2, yo, insert hook in next dc, yo and beg a dc, but leave unfinished in hook, rep in each of next 3 dc, yo and pass yarn through 5 loops on hook and sl st to secure (dctog cluster made), ch 2, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1, in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2, *yo, insert hook in next dc and begin a dc, leave unfinished, repeat in each of next 5 dc, yo and pass yarn through all loops on hook and sl st to secure (dctog cluster made), ch 2, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1 in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2, rep from * around. End rnd with sl st to beginning ch 2.
Fasten off, weave in tail.
Make as many as your project requires.
