Cowls have become some of the most popular items in our blog and for good reason, they are warm, good looking and super easy to make. Chloe fits all that and more, It is also versatile, and can be worn in different ways. Enjoy!

Skill- Easy
Size- 27 1/2" L in circumference x 5" W.

Materials-

Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Paddy Green (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Honeydew (4 oz)
Crochet hook sizes H and F.
Blunt needle
Scissors


Back of Cowl-

With Paddy green and H hook, Ch 74.
Row 1- 1 hdc in third ch from hok and in each ch across. Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), turn. (72 sts)
Row 2- 1 hdc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (72 sts)
Rows 3 to 10- 1 hdc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (72 sts)
Row 11- 1 hdc in each st across. (72 sts) Fasten off, weave in tails.


Front of Cowl-

Working on Right Side of piece, join Honeydew to narrow edge of cowl.
Row 1- With Honeydew and F hook, make 21 sc across (2 sc per each hdc of piece) Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), turn. (22 sts)
Row 2- 1 dc in same spot as ch 1, slip st in next st, *1 dc in next st, slip st in next st, rep across from *. (22 sts) Ch 1, turn.
Row 3- 1 dc in each st across. (22 sts) Ch 1, turn.
Row 4 to 22- Rep rows 2 and 3. Ch 1, turn.
Row 23- 1 sc in each sc across. Fasten of, leaving long tail to sew with.

Thread blunt needle with tail you left and sew edge of Cowl to opposite Paddy Green narrow end. Fasten off, weave in remainder of tail.
