Best Blog Tips

This is a pretty and easy cowl in a lush and vibrant color which goes well with any complexion. It is an ideal project for gifts and for charity.
It is wonderful since it uses less than 1 skein of yarn.

Skill- Easy (if a beginner, you need to be able to read and follow patterns)
Size- 2 1/2" W x 12 1/2" L (27" in Circumference)

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn, Flamingo ( 1 skein)
Crochet hook size H
Blunt needle
Scissors


Ch 25.

Row 1- Yarn over, insert hook in 3rd ch from hook and pull up a loop, keep loops on hook, yo, insert hook into next ch and pull up a loop, yo and through 4 loops on hook, yarn over and through last 2 loops (Faggot made), *yo, insert hook into Faggot stitch just made and pull up a loop, yo, insert hook into next chain and pull up a loop, yo and though 4 loops on hook, yo and through last 2 loops, rep from * across. (22 Faggots) Ch 3 (counts as first dc of next row), turn.
Row 2- 1 dc in each stitch across. (22 dc) Ch 2, turn.
Row 3- Yo, insert hook into ch 2 you made to turn, pull up a loop, yo, insert hook into next dc, pull up a loop, yo and through 4 lops on hook, yo and through last 2 loops on hook, *yo, insert hook into faggot just made and pull up a loop, yo, insert hook into next dc and pull up a loop, yo and through 4 loops on hook, yo and through last 2 loops, rep from * across. (22 Faggots) Ch 3, turn.
Rows 4 to 47- Rep rows 2 and 3 alternately. Fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with and have something left to weave in end.
