This is an easy, warm and attractive cowl that you can make for yourself, for gifts or for charity. It is warm and cozy, wonderful for the coldest and windiest days of the cold season!

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Tea Leaf (4 oz)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn honeydew (4 oz)
Crochet hook size H
Scissors
Yarn needle

With Tea Leaf and H hook, ch 28 loosely.


Row 1 (Right Side)- Work 1 dc in fourth ch from hook, skip next ch, make 1 sc in next ch, *skip next ch, 3 dc in next ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch; repeat from * across to lst 2 chs, skip next ch, 2 dc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.
Use a marker to mark row 1 as Right Side.
Row 2- Make 1 sc in first dc, skip next dc, 3 dc in next sc, *skip next dc, 1 sc in next dc, skip next dc, make 3 dc in next sc; repeat from * across to last 2 sts, skip next dc, make 1 sc in top of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- Work 1 dc in first sc, skip next dc, 1 sc in next dc, *skip next dc, make 3 dc in next sc, skip next dc, 1 sc in next dc; repeat from * across to last 2 sts, skip next next dc, 2 dc in last sc.
Rows 4 to 43- Rep rows 2 and 3 alternately. Fasten off, weave in tail.
Join Honeydew.
Row 44- Ch 3, skip to the center dc of first shell and work a 5-dc shell in that dc, skip to center dc of next shell and work a [1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc] V-St in that dc, *5-dc shell in center dc of next shell, V-St in center dc of next st, rep from * across, 1 dc in top of  turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Row 45- 5-dc shell in center dc [3rd dc] of first shell, V-St in sc-space of first V-st, *5-dc shell in 3rd or center dc of next shell, V-St in center or sc-space of next V-St, repeat from * across. Ch 3, turn.
Row 46- 5-dc shell in center dc [3rd dc] of first shell, V-St in sc-space of first V-st, *5-dc shell in 3rd or center dc of next shell, V-St in center or sc-space of next V-St, repeat from * across. Ch 3, turn.
Rows 47 to 58- Rep row 46. Fasten off, leaving a tail sufficiently long to sew piece into a tube and still be able to weave in tail.
