This lovely and vdery easy pentagon motif can be used for many beautiful items.
If you are making some of your Holiday gifts, this year, you can use this one as
the center of a round blanket for a baby, you can use it to make a shawl or stole,
to make a lacy poncho, a light afghan or lapghan, even, if you use a cotton yarn,
a pretty set of giant coasters.
The fact that it's easy to make and has a good size will make your work faster,
and that is a plus when you have a lot of stuff to make!

Red on Red Capelet

Best Blog Tips

Last year we had a terrific time making stocking stuffers and small precious gifts for the Holidays that you could add to the rest of your gifts for special people in your list, or to simply give them away to people on your second list (co-workers, the girl that cuts your hair, the smiling clerk that always takes care of you at the local bank, etc.) We are starting even earlier this year and this is our second installment, a pretty and feminine capelet. Very easy and fast to make!
As always, my choice of yarn is just a suggestion. I wanted two contrasting shades of red to set off the beautiful but simple lace insert. Enjoy!
