This is a fun scarflet, very carefree, like running on the green grass in spring, and it is just as easy to make!
It is nonetheless chic and feminine and very easy on the wear. Ideal as a gift or charity project. Enjoy!

Materials-
1 skein Red Heart worsted weight yarn Tea Leaf

Crochet hook size H
Scissors
Blunt needle to weave in tails



Right Side of Scarflet-

With Tea Leaf and H hook, ch 47.
Row 1- 2 dc in third ch from hook (first 2 ch count as 1 dc) *skip 3 ch, work 1 sc in next ch, ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 3 ch, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in  next ch, rep from * across, when you reach  the last 5 ch, end the row as follows: ch 3, work 1 dc in each of next 3 ch, skip 1 ch and make 1 sc in last ch. Turn.
Row 2- Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc) 3 dc in same spot as ch 3, skip next 3 dc, 1 sc into first ch of next ch 3, ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 2 ch, 1 dc in next sc, skip next 3 dc, 1 sc in first ch of next ch 3, *ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 2 ch, 1 dc in next sc, skip next 3 dc, 1 sc in first ch of next ch 3, rep from * across, end row by making 1 sc in top last st of previous row.
Rows 3 to 11- Rep row 2.
Row 12- Turn piece around and now, working on narrow side of piece, make 20 sc across narrow edge. Ch 3, turn. (20 sc)
Row 13- 1 dc in each sc across. Ch 4, turn. (20 dc)
Row 14- 1 tr in each dc across. (20 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 15- 1 dc in each sc across. Ch 4, turn. (20 dc)
Row 16- 1 tr in each dc across. (20 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Rows 17 to 24- Alternate 1 dc and 1 tr row, fasten off, leaving long tail to sew with.



Left Side of Scarflet-
With Tea Leaf and H hook, ch 47.

Row 12- Turn piece around and now, working on narrow side of piece, make 20 sc across narrow edge. Ch 3, turn. (20 sc)
Row 13- 1 dc in each sc across. Ch 4, turn. (20 dc)
Row 14- 1 tr in each dc across. (20 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 15- 1 dc in each sc across. Ch 4, turn. (20 dc)
Row 16- 1 tr in each of first 4 dc, ch 12, skip 12 dc, 1 tr in each of last 4 dc. (Keyhole started, 8 tr, 12 ch) Ch 3, turn.
Row 17- 1 dc in each tr and in each ch across. (20 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 18 to 24- Alternate 1 dc and 1 tr row, fasten off, weave in tail.

Thread blunt needle with the tail you left on the Right Side and sew both pieces together. Fasten off, weave in ends.

Another simple but pretty warming collar for you to wear during these cold months. It is very easy and fast to make and, if you want to give them away for gifts, you'll be done in a hurry. This is also a cute and very easy project to make for charity Something dear and near to my heart), so I encourage you to try this pattern also.

Size- (After folded) 18 " L x 5" W
Skill- Easy

Materials-
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Coral (1 skein)
Red Heart worsted weight yarn Claret (about 1/2 skein)
Crochet hook size H
Scissors
Blunt needle (to weave in ends)

With Coral and H hook, ch ch 25.
Row 1- 1 dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across. (23 dc) Ch 4, turn.
Row 2- 1 tr in next dc in each dc across. (23 tr) Ch 3, turn.
Row 3- 1 dc in each tr across. Ch 4, turn.
Rows 4 to 22- Alternate rows 2 and 3. (23 sts) Ch 4, turn.
Row 23- 1 tr in each dc across. (23 sts) Ch 4, turn.
Row 24- 1 dc in each tr across. (23 sts) Do NOT Fasten off! Ch 1, turn.
Row 24- 1 sc in each st across. (23 sc)
Row 25- Ch 1, not work on the long side of the scarflet, work 73 sc across. (73 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 26- 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each sc till last sc, 2 sc in last sc. (25 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 27- Rep row 25 across long side of piece. (73 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 28- Rep row 26. (25 sc) Fasten off Coral, weave in ends.



Edging #1-
Note- If you don't like to be weaving in too many tails, leave quite a long tail at the beginning of your edging so that you will not have to rejoin on the other side.
Join Claret.
Row 1- Working across the long edge of the collar at the top, ch 5, skip 3 sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 2, skip 3 sc, 1 dc in each of next 3 sc, ch 2, skip 3 sc, 1 sc in next sc, *ch 5, skip 3 sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 2, skip 3 sc, 1 dc in each of next 3 sc, ch 2, skip 3 sc, 1 sc in next sc, rep from * across. DO NOT FASTEN OFF!
Fold the collar almost in half lengthwise, (leave only 4 rows of the bottom part showing), now, working through both thicknesses, sc up the side of the collar (9 sc). DO NOT FASTEN OFF!
Tie- 
Ch 33. Work 6 dc in 4th ch from hook. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Repeat on the opposite side of top of  Collar.
Edging #2-
Join Claret to Bottom of piece.
Row 1- Work 1 sc in each sc across. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Done!
